According to BN DeStem, both Utrecht and AZ Alkmaar have had bids rejected by NAC Breda for centre-back Jan Paul van Hecke.

Apart from Ajax and PSV Eindhoven, the whole Eredivisie is chasing the talented defender, who still has a contract until 2022 with the Keuken Kampioen Divisie side.

BN De Stem is reporting that Utrecht have had a bid of less than €1 million turned down by NAC. AZ Alkmaar reported with a €2 million offer, but that was also waved away.

NAC wants to get more for the 20-year-old, who has already had talks with Utrecht boss John van den Brom and AZ coach Arne Slot. Feyenoord have also sent scouts several times to watch the youngster, but no bid has been made yet.

It is only a matter of time, though, before NAC accepts an offer for their young talent.
