AZ Alkmaar have confirmed the signing of talented forward Millen Baars.

The 19-year-old left the Ajax academy for Manchester United in 2017, but after two years the youngster was released. Baars has since been without a club but has now signed for AZ Alkmaar.
Baars signed a two-year contract in Alkmaar, and told the club’s website, “It makes me proud.
“I am very happy with the contract and that I have this opportunity. AZ is a warm club with nice people who want to help you. I also already knew a number of boys on the team. That allowed me to adapt quickly here.”
Baars will join up with the Jong AZ Alkmaar squad for next season.
