Polish side Arka Gdynia have confirmed the signing of AZ Alkmaar midfielder Marko Vejinovic on loan until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old joined AZ permanently from Feyenoord in the summer but has been out for most of the season with a knee injury.

Since returning to fitness, Vejinovic has been unable to break into John van den Brom’s side and they have allowed him to join Arka Gdynia until the end of the season to gain match fitness.

Vejinovic’s contract at AZ runs until 2022.
