According to Voetbal International, AZ Alkmaar have turned down an offer from Olympiakos for central defender Jeffrey Gouweleeuw.

VI are reporting that the Greek side made an offer for Gouweleeuw through an intermediary, but AZ Alkmaar immediately dismissed it.
AZ have already lost key players Nemanja Gudelj, Steven Berghuis, Simon Poulsen, Wesley Hoedt and Aron Johannsson this summer, and are determined not too lose the 24-year-old, who replaced Gudelj as the club’s captain this summer.
Gouweleeuw joined AZ from Heerenveen 2013 and has made 67 league appearances for the club.
