According to Voetbal International, AZ boss, John van den Brom will be in Norway on Wednesday to watch Rosenborg’s Fredrik Midtsjø in action against Celtic.

The 23-year-old Norwegian will come under van den Brom’s watchful eye in the second leg of their Champions League qualifier. AZ director Max Huiberts told VI that they have been watching Midtsjø for some time.
He said, “We have been following Fredrik for a year or six and certainly he has developed very well in the last few years.
“He is a dynamic midfielder, who is good in ball possession, but also in the conversion. A type of midfielder that we can use with our new playing style. ”
Midtsjø would be AZ’s third signing of the summer after Marco Bizot and Marko Vejinovic.
