Former Ajax and Liverpool attacker Ryan Babel has completed a move to United Arab Emirates club Al Ain.

The 28-year-old was linked with a move to Swansea City and Fenerbahce after leaving Turkish side Kasimpasa, but Babel has opted for a lucrative deal with Al Ain, signing a two-year-contract with the champions of the United Arab Emirates.
Babel first burst onto the scene with Ajax in 2004, and earned a move to Liverpool after impressing in the Eredivisie. The forward spent four years at Liverpool before joining German side Hoffenheim, and then returning to Ajax in 2012. A year later a move to Kasimpasa was sealed, with Babel scoring 14 times in 58 league matches for the Turkish club.
Babel has 42 caps for Netherlands national team.
