Voetbal International is reporting that Ryan Babel is set for a return to Turkey with Galatasaray.

Babel spent the last six months with Fulham in the Premier League but confirmed after relegation that he would not be staying at the London club.

The 32-year-old is now set for a return to Turkey with Galatasaray. Talks are at an advanced stage with the Super Lig champions over a multi-year deal.

It would be a controversial transfer for the attacker, who spent two years with Besiktas before leaving in January for Fulham.

Galatasaray will be Babel’s ninth club after Ajax, Liverpool, Hoffenheim, Al-Ain, Kasimpasa, Deportivo la Coruna, Besiktas and Fulham.
