Ryan Babel isn’t interested in signing a permanent contract with Fulham after their relegation from the Premier League.

The 32-year-old forward joined Fulham from Besiktas in January on a short-term deal as the London side looked to stave off relegation. Babel didn’t help them remain in the Premier League but he has impressed with four goals and three assists.

Fulham are reportedly keen on keeping Babel past the summer but the Dutch international told the Daily Mail, “My agent has already had some phone calls. I have to make the right decision at this stage in my career. There are many factors that I have to take into account. “

Babel is hoping to remain in the Netherlands squad for next summer’s European Championships and doesn’t see a season in the Championship as a wise choice, “That’s what I mean. I have to make the right decision for my family and the future. ”

Babel thinks he still has plenty to offer despite is age and is hoping to stay in the Premier League, “I think I have two or three years ahead. And if I have the chance to stay in the Premier League, that would be great.”
