Nouafal Bannis netted in the 94th minute to hand Feyenoord a 3-2 win over 10-man Emmen.

On Thursday, Feyenoord gave away three penalties in the 4-1 loss to Wolfsberger. On Sunday, they made that four in two games as Nick Marsman, who replaced the injured Justin Bijlow, brought down Michael De Leeuw. Anco Jansen fired Emmen in front from the spot.

Feyenoord struggled to create anything and they were dealt a blow when Steven Berghuis had to go off injured to be replaced by Nouafal Bannis.

In the 36th minute, Emmen were reduced to ten men when Jansen saw red for a late challenge on Mark Diemers. Four minutes later, Bannis was held in the box, and Diemers equalised from the spot.

De Leeuw stunned Feyenoord by firing Emmen back in front with a stunning strike, but before the break, Jens Toornstra equalised.

Feyenoord went looking for the winner after the break with Luciano Narsingh hitting the bar. Bryan Linssen, Bannis and Bart Nieuwkoop then all went close, but Emmen survived, until the last second. Bannis made himself the hero by heading in the winner.

The win means Feyenoord are up to fourth, while Emmen are 16th.
