Feyenoord goal machine Graziano Pelle is on a long shortlist of potential targets for Spanish giants Barcelona according to local reports.

pelle 4According to Spanish newspaper Sport Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino wants to add a striker to his squad in January. The targets need to be physically strong, and relatively cheap to buy for the La Liga Champions.

With these characteristics Pelle is seen as one of the ideal targets, and the man compared to Luca Toni could come under the watchful eye of Barcelona’s scouts.

Other names said to be on their list are Aritz Arduriz (Athletic de Bilbao), Óscar Cardozo (Benfica) and Artem Dzyuba (FK Rostov, loaned to Spartak Moscow. Cordozo has previously worked with Martino when he was coach of Paraguay.

Pelle has been in great form since joining Feyenoord, and has so far netted 37 goals in 38 league matches for the Rotterdam side. In the summer, Pelle was linked with Zenit st Petersburg, but elected to stay with Feyenoord, who he had just signed for permanently after a loan spell.
