Barcelona have confirmed that Alfred Schreuder has been appointed as one of Ronald Koeman’s assistants.

Schreuder has signed a two-year deal at the Nou camp as well as former Feyenoord and Barcelona striker Henrik Larsson.

The former Ajax assistant was recently head coach of Hoffenheim but left the club after a disagreement with the club’s management.

Koeman said on the Barcelona website, “Schreuder has had a lot of influence in his time at Ajax. And players are always very positive about him.”
