According to Diario Sport, Barcelona wants to sign Dutch talent Melayro Bogarde from Hoffenheim in January.

Gerard Piqué and Sergi Roberto have suffered injuries, leaving Koeman short of cover at both right-back and in the centre of defence.

The club’s finances mean their options are very limited, and according to reports in Spain, Barcelona are hoping to sign Hoffenheim’s Dutch talent Melayro Bogarde.

The 18-year-old’s contract expires next summer and has been attracting interest from Manchester City, Real Madrid, and especially AC Milan.

The Nephew of former Ajax and Barcelona defender Winston Bogarde, became the youngest player in Bundesliga history when he started against Mainz last season. It was Alfred Schreuder that gave him his debut and he is now assistant coach with Barcelona.
