According to reports in Spain, Barcelona won’t pursue the signing of Ajax centre-back Davinson Sanchez this summer.

The Catalan giants attempted to sign the Colombian before he joined Ajax last year and have been heavily linked with him again this summer.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have given up on signing Sanchez, with his high asking price possibly behind the decision. Ajax reportedly want €50 million to part with the 21-year-old, who they signed for €5 million 12 months ago.
A move to Inter Milan has also been linked in the Italian media, but its looking likely that Sanchez will remain in Amsterdam.
