Barcelona have been trying to raise funds to sign Memphis Depay since Ronald Koeman was announced as the club’s new head coach.
However, time is running out for Barcelona with Aulas telling French television that no player will be allowed to depart the club after Friday. He told Telefoot, “We will tell the players that if no agreement is reached on a departure before Friday, no one will be allowed to leave.
“The players who have not left on Friday will not leave. We do not have to sell, I can safely say that. We can talk to players and clubs for transfers that will take place in a year.”
The statement affects Barcelona’s move for Memphis, but also Arsenal’s reported interest in Houssem Aouar.
