The Spanish newspaper is reporting that Barcelona have been put off because any potential deal would end up costing the club €200 million.
That number includes the €75 million fee, a €12 million a year salary over five years, and the 20% bonuses that his agent Mino Raiola is demanding.
Barcelona also fear that offering a €19-year-old such a high wage would cause big issues for the club in the future.
Juventus are now believed to be favourites to seal a deal for the centre-back, while PSG are not out of the running.
