Enrique’s contract at Barcelona is set to expire and the club are hoping to have a back-up in place should he decide not to renew his deal.
According to SportItalia, Barcelona will target Everton boss Ronald Koeman, who has made no secret of his desire to coach his former side in the future.
Koeman only took charge of Everton in the summer but could find a return to the Nou Camp too tempting to turn down should Barcelona come calling.
