According to Spanish newspaper ‘AS’ Barcelona are unwilling to lower their asking price for Dutch goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen.

Cillessen left Ajax for Barcelona in a €14 million deal back in 2016 but he has had to play second fiddle to first-choice goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen since.

Several Premier League and Serie A sides have been linked with a move for the Dutch international but have been put off by Barcelona’s €60 million asking price.

A source has told AS that the Catalan giants are unwilling to budge from their requested fee and want Cillessen to remain at the club to compete with Ter Stegen.

Cillessen, who has only made 24 appearances appearances for Barcelona has a contract until 2021.
