Bayer Leverkusen has confirmed the signing of Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

The versatile defender has signed a deal in Leverkusen until mid-2024 with Manchester United receiving around €2 million.
Fosu-Mensah is looking forward to working with Peter Bosz, “I’ve talked to him a lot and that has convinced me that I have a lot of perspective in Leverkusen. I am going to a very strong competition, in which this club belongs to the top teams. I am looking forward to that and also to the cooperation with the trainer.”
The 23-year-old left the Ajax academy for Manchester United back in 2014, and he made 30 appearances for the club. He also had loan spells with Fulham and Crystal Palace.
At Bayer Leverkusen, the three-time Netherlands international will look to get regular playing time in the Bundesliga.
