The 32-year-old has missed several games this season through injury and his current deal with the Munich giants expires in the summer. However, Robben remains a key man in Bavaria and Bayern have held talks with the winger over a new one-year deal.
No agreement has been made yet, but chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge isn’t worried.
He told a fan event, “We have also spoken with Robben over a contract renewal.
“He wants to wait until Christmas, but there is nothing to suggest we will not agree a one-year renewal with him as well. I think things will work out.
“Ribery and Robben might be turning 34 and 33, respectively, but they still give us something extra.”
