Riechedly Bazoer finally made his debut for FC Porto in their 6-0 cup victory over Vila Real on Friday evening.

Porto rescued the midfielder from Wolfsbur by signing him on a season-long loan deal on the final day of the transfer window. However, partly due to a shoulder injury he had to wait for his debut.

The former Ajax youngster was handed his first start and debut for Porto against Vila Real and played the full 90 minutes in a 6-0 victory. Bazoer didn’t assist or score but he was brought down by Raúl Babo for a straight red card just before the break.

Bazoer will now be hoping that he has impressed enough to be included in the squad for the Champions League clash with Lokomotiv Moscow next week.
