Riechedly Bazoer has received his first call-up to the Netherlands squad in place of injured Ajax teammate Davy Klaassen.

Klaassen has been forced to pull out of the squad for the ties with Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic after suffering from mild concussion after Sunday’s tie against PSV.
Netherlands coach Danny Blind, who has already been forced to call up Eljero Elia to replace Quincy Promes, has now drafted in 18-year-old midfielder Riechedly Bazoer as Klaassen’s replacement.
Bazoer has been hugely impressive in Ajax’s midfield this season and has now been handed his first chance to impress for his country.
