bazoer-neth-uJong Oranje are unlikely to automatically qualify for the Euros next year but know that two wins in their final two games will put them in a good position to be one of the best four runner’s up, who enter the play-offs. Netherlands face Turkey on the 6th of October before a trip to Cyprus five days later.

Fred Grim has named a strong provisional squad with Ajax duo Jairo Riedewald and Riechedly Bazoer included, as well as Feyenoord’s Tonny Vilhena, Lazio’s Ricardo Kishna and Manchester United’s Timothy Fosu-Mensah. There is no place for Memphis Depay, who could have been included after missing out on the full national team’s squad.
