parzysekRumours of interest from Benfica in the 20-year-old surfaced last month, but De Graafschap issued a warning that they would not sell their star for cheap.

Aston Villa, Ajax and PSV had all been linked with interest, but it has now been confirmed that the Polish youngster will move to Portugal in the summer.

No fee has been mentioned, but Parzyszek will sign a four-year-deal, after undergoing a medical in Lisbon, which will come into effect after this season.

De Graafschap director Roland Vroomans confirmed the deal to Voetbal International, “It’s a great transfer for both Piotr and De Graafschap. We are really glad that he will finish the season with us,”

Parzyszek has been in great form so far this season, netting 16 times in 19 Eerste Divisie matches, but will miss the next two games after being sent off at the weekend.
