Watford coach Walter Mazzarri has confirmed that he will consider recalling Steven Berghuis from his loan with Feyenoord.

The Dutch international barely featured for the Hornets last season after joining from AZ Alkmaar and returned to the Eredivisie in the summer in order to gain regular action at Feyenoord.
However, with both Nordin Amrabat and Adlene Guedioura heading to the African Cup of nations, and several players injured, Walter Mazzarri will consider recalling Berghuis from Rotterdam.
Mazzarri said, “I’m very happy he’s doing very well in another league even if it’s a different competition to the Premier League.
“I will speak with the club and see what all the options are we have available for January.”
