De Telegraaf are reporting that AZ Alkmaar winger Steven Berghuis is set to sign for Premier League newcomers Watford FC.

The 23-year-old was a potential target for PSV Eindhoven this summer, but they instead sealed a deal for Gaston Pereiro, allowing Watford to swoop for the winger. AZ have accepted Watford’s bid of €5 million.
Berghuis signed for AZ Alkmaar from FC Twente in 2012, and has went on to make 70 Eredivisie appearances for the club, scoring nineteen goals.
His impressive form last season saw Berghuis earn a call up to the Dutch national team this summer, but he failed to make his debut against eh USA or Latvia.
