Feyenoord winger Steven Berghuis was reportedly close to a deadline day move to AS Roma.

The winger was top scorer in the Eredivisie last season and was available for only €8 million during the last transfer window. He is still with Feyenoord, but AS Roma were interested in the forward.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano told Podcast with Pederson from FC Afkicken, “Berghuis was close to a transfer to AS Roma on deadline day before they decided to keep another player at the club. He was an option for them, because he has a lump sum payment of eight million euros. Roma followed him, he is a good player.”
Berghuis could still leave Feyenoord in January because the clause in his contract gets even lower next summer.
