Dennis Bergkamp has ruled himself out of the running to become the new head coach of English Premier League side Swansea City.

bergkamp coachBergkamp was reportedly on the shortlist to become the new Swansea boss after the club sacked Garry Monk earlier this week.

However speaking to Voetbal International, Bergkamp has insisted he has no interest in the position and is looking to stay at Ajax, where he is assistant to Frank de Boer.

The 46-year-old said, “I currently have no ambition to become head coach,”

“In addition, i still have a decent job with Ajax and I see myself playing a role there in the coming years.”
