The 19-year-old who can play in both midfield and defence is highly rated by Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho, but with the boss unable to guarantee Ake first team football he may look to loan him out in January.
Besiktas president Fikrit Orman has confirmed the Turkish club are set to do business with Chelsea in January, with a deal for Ake set to be one of the options discussed.
Orman is quoted by the Independent, “We have a very good relationship with them. Will we do business with them in January? Why not?
“We are interested in some of their players, but not Petr Cech. We want to get loans for the second half of the season.
“It is very difficult to invest in players at the same time as building the stadium. We do not have stadium income.”
Ake has made three appearances for Chelsea this season, but not a single one of those coming in the Premier League.
