Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven have stuttered in recent weeks, drawing away to both Utrecht and Heerenveen, but they remain four points clear at the top of the table.
Mark van Bommel’s side will be looking to return to winning ways when an inconsistent Feyenoord arrive at the Philips Stadion.
Feyenoord, who inflicted the first league defeat of the season on PSV Eindhoven in the reverse fixture, hammered Ajax 6-2 at the end of January, but in February they have suffered two disappointing away defeats to Excelsior and Groningen.
Feyenoord, who are 15 points behind PSV in third, go into the game with one eye on the crucial KNVB Cup semi-final with Ajax in midweek. With the Eredivisie title out of their reach, Giovanni van Bronckhorst may decide to prioritise the cup.
