According to De Telegraaf, Birmingham City are one of many clubs interested in signing Ajax left-back Mitchell Dijks this summer.

The 24-year-old spent six months on loan with Norwich City at the end of last season, and was set to make the deal permanent, but talks broke down.

According to De Telegraaf, there is plenty of interest in Dijks, though, with Birmingham City one of the clubs named. However, the club managed by Harry Redknapp are unlikely to meet Ajax’s asking price of €4 million.

Clubs from Spain, Italy and Germany are also reportedly eyeing the Dutchman.
