According to Sky Sports Blackpool are in front of a number of Championship, and Scottish Premier League clubs in the queue to sign the centre back, who is out of contract in the Hague this summer.
The 23-year-old was reportedly present for the English side’s 3-1 defeat to Derby on Tuesday, and held talks with Blackpool officials over a deal.
At 6″4 Beugelsdijk is a tall, and tough defender, who has been with ADO Den Haag his whole career, and racked up 55 league appearances for the club, scoring five goals.
This season after a poor start, Beugelsdijk has been a key part of ADO Den Haag’s recent improvement under new coach Henk Fraser, with the club currently unbeaten in nine games, drawing five, and winning four.
Beugelsdijk has all the attributes to be a good defender in a tough league such as the Championship, and on a free transfer, he could turn out to be a bargain.
