Daley Blind says he is feeling fine after a heart scare during Ajax’s 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin on Tuesday.

Blind was diagnosed with an inflamed heart muscle last season after Ajax’s Champions League clash with Valencia. He has played since with an ICD box which helps regulate his heart.

On Tuesday, Blind fell to the pitch during the 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin and had to be substituted. Erik ten Hag said afterwards, “He has no complaints and feels fine. He was changed on time and after the ICD went off it was okay right away. We are going to do research and see what the results are. From there we will make decisions.”

Blind has now taken to Twitter to say, “Many thanks for all the kind messages I received. I can say that Iā€™m okay and feeling fine.”
