Danny Blind has named his Netherlands squad for the upcoming ties with Greece and Sweden.

Jong Oranje - Jong CyprusThe Oranje host Greece in a friendly on the 1st of September before the World Cup qualifiers begin with a trip to Sweden five days later.

Blind has decided to drop Klaas jan Huntelaar and Memphis Depay from his squad, while PSV midfielder Jorrit Hendrix is called up for the first time. There are no place for the likes of Jordy Clasie, Stefan de Vrij or Arjen Robben, who is still out injured.

The full squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Maarten Stekelenburg, Joreon Zoet, Jasper Cillessen

Defenders: Patrick van Aanholt, Daley Blind, Ron Vlaar, Jeffrey Bruma, Kenny Tete, Jetro Willems, Virgil van Dijk, Joel Veltman

Midfielders: Kevin Strootman, Riechedly Bazoer, Jorrit Hendrix, Davy Klaassen, Georginio Wijnaldum, Davy Propper, Wesley Sneijder

Attackers: Steven Berghuis, Luciano Narsingh, Quincy Promes, Bas Dost, Luuk de Jong, Vincent Janssen
