Netherlands face Bulgaria on Saturday in a must-win qualifier but there are still a number of questions around Danny Blind’s starting line-up. Who will play in goal? Bas Dost or Vincent Janssen up front? and who will partner Stefan de Vrij in defence?

Speaking at his press conference on Tuesday, Blind called the battle for places a “Luxury” and he confirmed that Arjen Robben will be fit for the match on Saturday.

He said on his selection, “I have a luxury problem, that is wonderful.”

On Robben he added, “Everyone is fit, Robben only had a small problem after the game against Borussia Monchengladbach.

“He is available for Bulgaria. Maybe he trains still separate, but Thursday he must be able to eleven against eleven join in training. ”

De Vrij was also a doubt, but Blind confirmed the centre back will play on Saturday, “The doctor calls his knee dry and that means it’s okay. He is fit. Who’s going to play next to him? There are several options. Martins Indi doing well at Stoke. Hoedt is doing very well at Lazio. Viergever is there, he can also play left back. And (Daley) Blind can also play there. ”

17-year-old Matthijs de Ligt was a shock call-up and Blind confirmed the youngster will not start on Saturday before adding, “He must listen, learn and enjoy this.”
