Ajax has confirmed that Daley Blind has resumed full training after his heart scare last month.

On the 24th of August, Blind had to be substituted during the preseason tie with Hertha Berlin after his ICD, a defibrillator that restores his heart rhythm in case of disorders, had gone off.

Blind had been kept to the side since as they ran tests, but on Tuesday, Ajax confirmed that the defender had been given the go ahead to resume full training.

Ajax begin their season against Sparta Rotterdam but its unclear whether Blind will be fit enough to participate.
