boetius fey ghvgFeyenoord and Boetius have been locked in talks for months as the Rotterdam club looked to extend the 21-year-olds contract which expires in 2016. However Feyenoord have now ceased these negotiations after failing to reach an agreement.

With the risk of Boetius leaving the club on a free next summer, Feyenoord will now likely try and sell the winger, who has reportedly attracted interest from the likes of AC Milan and Tottenham in the past.

Boetius has been with Feyenoord since the age of six, and made his first team debut in 2012. Last season Boetius scored ten times and added ten assists in 29 league matches, but he has failed to mask that form this year, only netting four times in 28 Eredivisie matches so far.
