Bojan joined in the summer from Barcelona, but despite Ajax topping the Eredivisie table, the Spaniard has struggled to make an impact in his 27 appearances. However on Sunday, the forward produced his best performances of the season in a 3-0 win over Twente, and netted a stunning goal, giving Ajax fans hope that there is more to come from the ex-Milan and Roma player.
De Telegraaf are reporting that Ajax have an option to extend the 23-year-olds loan until the end of next season, but Bojan is currently keeping his options open, and will not talk about his future until the end of the campaign.
Speaking to De Telegraaf, Bojan said, “We first want to be champions and win the cup, then we’ll talk about the future. Now I want to prove my worth,”
i think he’s had a tough first season here, for sure not ready to go back to barca, but they might need him after this ban thing.
i think another season with us would do him good
