bojan cThe Spanish striker is on loan from Barcelona to Ajax, but will be eligible to face the La Liga giants when the two clubs meet in Spain on Wednesday night.

Bojan played over 100 times for the Catalan giants before being loaned firstly to Roma, then AC Milan, and now Ajax over the past two years.

Ahead of his Camp Nou comeback, Bojan told VI, “When I looked at the draw, I was not even aware that this outcome was a possibility.”

“I’m really looking forward to the start of the Champions League. Barca is without a doubt the best club in the world.”

“We certainly do not change our tactics. Maybe we can change something in the details, but if you want to create a good result and chances you have to believe in your own playing style.”

Group H also contains AC Milan, so a reunion at the San Siro is also in the pipeline, and although failing to impress in Serie A, Bojan does not regret his time in Italy;

“Do I regret my time in Italy?

“No, because I thought Milan at that time was the best choice for my career. However, football in Italy did not fit well with my playing style.”
