According to the Mirror, Peter Bosz is a candidate to take over at Premier League strugglers Southampton, should they sack Mark Hughes.

Southampton have won only once in the Premier League this season and the club’s board are said to be seriously considering Hughes position after their 3-2 loss at Fulham this weekend.

The Mirror is reporting that the club already has a three-man shortlist to replace Hughes with Peter Bosz on it along with Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers and Leonardo Jardim.

Bosz has been out of work since being sacked by Borussia Dortmund last season. Before that, he enhanced his reputation with Ajax, who he guided to the Europa League final before being defeated by Manchester United.

Hughes will reportedly be given a chance to save his job but Southampton have games with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur coming up.
