Feyenoord came from behind twice to defeat PEC Zwolle 4-3 in a thriller on Sunday evening. Róbert Bozenik was Feyenoord’s hero with a late winner.

The game was only four minutes long before PEC Zwolle were awarded a penalty for a handball by Marcos Senesi. Lennart Thy made it 1-0 from the spot.

Six minutes later, PEC Zwolle doubled their lead as Mike van Duinen’s fierce strike deflected off Edgar Iés thigh and into the top corner.

Feyenoord eventually grew into the game and they managed to pull one back in the 38th minute when Leroy Fer head in a Steven Berghuis cross.

At the break, Dick Advocaat made a double change with Rick Karsdorp and Robert Bozenik coming on for Lutsharel Geertruida and Luis Sinisterra. Feyenoord began the second half on top and after five minutes they had the equaliser through Berghuis.

Feyenoord were on top but on the hour mark, Thy restored PEC Zwolle’s lead with a shot on the turn that flew past Bijlow. However, the visitors fought back again and Berghuis equalised in the 65th minute with a controlled shot into the bottom corner.

From that point it seemed the game was heading for a draw but Bozenik made himself the hero in the last minute with a lovely strike from the edge of the box.
