Jeffrey Bruma has departed Wolfsburg to join Mainz 05 on loan until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has fallen out of favour at Wolfsburg in recent weeks and could no longer count on any playing time.

Bruma has been allowed to depart for fellow Bundesliga side Mainz 05, where he will link up with Jean-Paul Boetius and Jeremiah St Juste.

The 25-time Netherlands international still has a contract with Wolfsburg until 2021.
