Cambuur kept up their impressive start to the season as they cruised to a 4-1 victory over Dordrecht in Leeuwarden.

cambogbechThe home side got off to an excellent start and were 2-0 ahead with only six minutes on the clock. After 46 seconds Albert Rusnak’s interception found Daniel de Ridder on the edge of the box and the forward chipped over Filip Kurto to make it 1-0 and five minutes later Bartholomew Ogbeche fired into the bottom corner after Dordrecht failed to clear for the second.

Cambuur continued to dominate for the rest of the first half, but could not add any further goals with Ogbeche, De Ridder and Furdjel Narsingh all guilty of missing good chances.

Just like in the first half Cambuur netted two quick fire goals within four second half minutes to move 4-0 ahead. On 53 minutes Ogbeche added his second of the match from close range, and Sander van de Streek added the fourth with an excellent left footed strike into the top corner after pinching the ball from William Troost-Ekong.

Substitute Rihairo Meuelens pulled one back for the visitors, finishing at the back post after a fine team move, but it was too little too late as Cambuur held on for the 4-1 win.

Cambuur move up to fourth after the win, while Dordrecht remain 2nd bottom and without a win since the opening day of the season.
