manu aManu becomes the clubs first January signing in what is set to be a busy month for Cambuur as they look to avoid relegation from the Eredivisie.

The 20-year-old winger has only appeared four times for Feyenoord this season, and Ronald Koeman has sent him to Cambuur in order to gain first team football.

Last season, Manu had a spell on loan with Eerste Divisie side Excelsior which saw the youngster net eight times in 16 league appearances. This impressive tally wasn’t enough to convince Koeman that he was ready for a first team spot, with Jean-Paul Boetius, Ruben Schaken, and Samuel Armenteros all ahead of him in the pecking order.

Cambuur currently sit 2nd bottom in the Eredivisie table, and coach Dwight Lodewedges will be hoping the capture of Manu can spark a revival in the second half of the season.
