FC Twente has reportedly rejected an offer from Scottish side Celtic for midfielder Lindon Selahi.

The 21-year-old Albanian joined FC Twente from Standard Liege last year, and he made 25 appearances in the Eredivisie last season, scoring twice.

Selahi’s contract expires in 2021 and a departure this summer could be on the cards.

According to Sports Ekspres, Celtic are interested in signing Selahi but have had their first offer rejected by FC Twente. There is no mention on the amount that was offered.

Twente are now waiting for a second bid but remain hopeful that Selahi will stay at the club.
