Feyenoord suspended Kazim-Richards until February after the Turkish international threatened a journalist who questioned his attitude.
The Rotterdam club are keen to sell the striker this month and Giovanni van Bronckhorst even admitted earlier this month that Kazim-Richards would be better off moving.
With a few days left in the transfer market Feyenoord’s wish may come true with Celtic reportedly interested in the 29-year-old, and talks between the two clubs have begun.
Kazim-Richards has scored once in eleven Eredivisie appearances this season.
