VI report that both Sunderland and Swansea City have made contact with Celtic over a deal for Van Dijk, while Napoli, Southampton, and a number of Bundesliga sides are also interested. So far it is only the two Premier League clubs who have firmed up their interest.
Van Dijk had a good first season in Scotland after joining from Groningen last summer, and although Celtic have always indicated that they will not sell the 23-year-old in the past, they could now be open for a deal.
The defender has a contract at Celtic until 2017, and the Scottish club will be looking for offers around €10 million if they are to sell.
