According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea and Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign Ajax defender Davinson Sanchez.

The Colombian, who was named Ajax player of the year on Sunday, has only been in Amsterdam for one season but can count on interest from several top European clubs this summer.
Barcelona have been heavily linked with the 21-year-old and are reportedly lining up a €25 million bid, while Real Madrid and PSG are also interested. However, Mundo Deportivo are reporting in Wednesday that both Bayern Munich and Chelsea are also planning summer moves for Sanchez.
The newspaper believes Chelsea are even willing to go as high as €40 million to sign the centre-back, who Ajax spent only €5 million to sign.
