Chelsea have recalled Dutch defender Nathan Ake from his loan spell with Bournemouth.

Reports in Saturday suggested Chelsea coach Antonio Conte was considering a recall for the Dutch youngster and on Sunday the club confirmed that Ake had returned.
The 21-year-old joined Bournemouth on loan in August and made 12 appearances for the club, scoring three goals. He now returns to Premier League leaders Chelsea as backup to full back’s Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso.
Ake joined Chelsea from Feyenoord in 2012 but has only made twelve appearances for the first team.
