Sixteen-year-old striker Daishawn Redan is set to leave Ajax to sign a deal with Premier League giants Chelsea.

Redan is considered one of the biggest talents in the Ajax academy, but it became clear earlier this year that he would be departing Amsterdam with Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Red Bull Leipzig all linked.

It now appears that Chelsea have won the race to sign the Netherlands U17 international with @Chelseayouth on Twitter announcing that the Dutchman would be announced in their youth intake at the start of July.

Redan will join fellow U17 international Juan Familia Castillo in the Chelsea academy.
