perica nacAfter Perica announced his departure from the Eredivisie side on Instagram, NAC Breda have now made a statement on their official website confirming that the strikers loan deal has been ended.

NAC director Graeme Rutjens stated, “Stipe has invested a lot in the past year and a half to help NAC and become a better footballer. We wish him every success in his future endeavors.”

The reason behind Perica’s departure is interest from Italian side Udinese, who are set to take over the players loan  and include an option to make the move permanent in the summer.

Perica initially joined NAC Breda last season, scoring six times in 28 appearances, mostly from the bench and gaining a reputation as a super sub. However the Croatian has failed to have an impact this season, scoring only one in ten games.
